Honeysuckle Lore
Honeysuckles are a species of bipedal nectar-collecting creatures that are dependent on flowers and the nature around them. They collect honey not for just themselves but also for their allies as they tend to live in groups of small communities. Honeysuckles are gardeners by heart and are gentle creatures. They use their long tongues to collect nectar and store it in their necks where it goes through the process of changing into honey. It is known that the flowers in their world are MUCH larger than ours which is why it's so easy to collect a lot of nectar!
So what do they do with the honey? Well, they can use it to feed themselves for multiple days, store it for later use, or even use it competitively!
What do I mean by competitively? Well, Honeysuckles can get very competitive in certain "arts" of honey.
An example would be flavor contest. Have you ever tasted blueberry honey? Banana? Even Root Beer? There is so many flavors to go off of! What's even cooler is that each Honeysuckle's honey is unique in flavor depending on how much they eat a certain food! A Honeysuckle's honey sac could be blue from eating so many blueberries or red from eating a lot of strawberries! The colors can change but it takes a LOT of time and requires eating a certain food for a long time for it to change! To change your Honeysuckle's honey sac color faster, we recommend using our food dye item! Each one coming with a flavor!
Keep in mind the honey sacs must be colored like a gradient!
Honeysuckles enjoy making honey jars as well! There are even competitions in making them and showing off their artistic abilities. They enjoy this craftsmanship and other Honeysuckles usually pay a lot for the jars! Jars can be made in clay or glass!
Speaking of pay, how do they pay? What is their currency?
They pay in maple coins which can be collected from the trees as a liquid before going through a process and hardening up enough to become a coin. Maple coins are like our dollars while another currency, Amber coins, is much more premium and often used for more luxury stuff.
An example:
Maple Coins = Can get you the simple stuff, food dye to change the honey sac, paint brushes, and more small things.
Amber Coins = Can get you premium stuff such as new genetics, traits, and more bigger things.
It is possible to turn Maple Coins into Amber Coins!
Every 100 MC = 1 AC
Honeysuckles are classified as mammals for the most part. They CAN be reptilian, bird, or fish but those aren't as common as mammals are!
Mammal = Common
Reptilian = Uncommon
Bird & Fish = Rare
Bug = Mythical
All Honeysuckles are omnivores!
